The Revd Nick Papadopulos

Nick Papadopulos came to Canterbury in March 2013 after six years as a parish priest in central London. He has previously served in the Dioceses of Salisbury and Portsmouth. Before his ordination in 1999 he worked as a barrister, specializing in criminal law. As Canon Treasurer he represents the Chapter on those committees which have responsibility for the Cathedral’s finance and fabric. In addition he directs the Kent Initial Ministerial Education programme for the Diocese of Canterbury, working alongside others to form its newly ordained deacons and priests.He has a particular interest in spirituality, and is the editor of God’s Transforming Work (SPCK 2011). He is married to Heather, and they have two children. He enjoys music, cooking, walking, reading widely, and – whenever he remembers – going to the gym.
