Talk by Aidan Potts  Tree and Plantation specialist for Canterbury City Council.

 

Competitions

FLORAL ART: “ Celebrate ”  An arrangement in a glass or bottle.

VEGETABLES: Eight Broad Beans.

 

Allotments

Judging of the Best Kept Allotment will take place in July with a prize is a rent free plot for 2017

Plot holders are reminded that Allotment gates should be locked at all times.

Hut at Victoria Allotments Rheims Way Open Sunday and Wednesday mornings from 10AM Until Noon for all your garden requirements

Coach trip to Hyde Hall Flower Show Essex  Saturday 6th August 2016

36 Nurseries exhibiting plus a Floral Art Marquee.

Annual Show Saturday 10th September 2016 Ashford Road Community Association Hall.

There is a variety of classes, vegetables, fruit, flowers, floral art, cookery, crafts and photography. Schedules are now available at the Hut at Victoria or at the monthly meeting. If you have not entered before why not give a try.

Annual Dinner November. More information next month.
